This year so far


I really don't know where this year has gone. How are we already a few days into July?

These past 6 months have been very busy for me, I've finished up studying Illustration at university, fully cleaned my flat and moved back home, and I've applied for jobs and had interviews (nothing successful yet).

On the more fun side of things I've read a bunch of great books and made some great friends on my Discord book chat. I've celebrated a year in a long distance relationship and we've had some fun trips out together which have been great. And lastly, I've played some really cool video games - I'm toying with the idea of sharing some min reviews of them here.

Books Read

The Raven Cycle was such a good series, I'm so glad I gave it another chance and read them all this year. I'll be seeing Maggie next month for a signing which I'm so excited for. I finally got a chance to read Shatter Me for my travelling book project but I'm not sure how I feel about this series, I'll give the next book a chance. Felicia Day's book was super interesting to read and I'm finally close to finished the Wicked Lovely series too.

Currently Reading

Neverwhere The Dark World Low, Vol. 1: The Delirium of Hope
Rebel of the Sands (Rebel of the Sands, #1) Unwind (Unwind, #1)
One day I will stop reading multiple books at once. Today is not that day and I don't see it being any time soon. I'm really struggling with Neverwhere but I'm enjoying all of the others so far.

    Awesome year thus far and you have been busy elsewhere in your life. I have the fist audiobook of the The Raven Cycle and hope to begin soon

    Scary how fast this year has gone!! Lots of great reads including The Raven Cycle...I need to read The Raven King this summer!
