Magnificently Magic Read-A-Thon Day 3

Hello Day 3. I must apologise because I wont be able to make the twitter chat tonight as I'll be just finishing watching The Hobbit around that time... I might catch the end of the chat, hopefully. I'll be sure to let you know how amazing the movie is if I do turn up. I guess I didn't do much better yesterday, you can blame watching The Expendables 2 on that, it was distracting and completely awesome.

Magnificently Magic Read-A-Thon Day 2

Day 2 is here guys! How awesome is that. I've been at college all day today, visited my old college and picked up all my art work - which was a lot - and then had to somewhat tidy my room to fit in all my work! There isn't enough room so my mother has ordered me some new shelves so I can move my books onto them, I am so excited. I also had secret santa at college and Santa Danh gave me two Dr who books!

Magnificently Magic Read-A-Thon Day 1

Today is the first day of the readathon and guess who totally forgot? Yes that is right, I forgot. I don't know how when Faye emailed us with reminders, I just zone out from life every now and then. But cause I forgot and the whole theme of this readathon is supposed to be magical and Christmassy I'm taking magical in a very different way to everyone else. I've decided that the books I'm going to be reading throughout this magical time are as follows:
Believe Like a ChildRock Hard (Sinners on Tour, #2)
The Last Witch (Incenaga, #1)The Unwords
I bet you're probably thinking "hey some of these don't look too magical?" well this is where my difference comes in, these books are magical in the sense that "its magical I'm actually reading" cause I usually get really forgetful when I'm taking part in readathons and end up reading less than I do normally. In short I'm cheating.  No wait wait I can actually think of how they all relate to magic.
Believe Like a Child - the magic of survival
Rock Hard - the magic amount of orgasms
The Last Witch - witches are magical
The Unwords - there's something mystical and magical about this collection of poetry I'm sure.
So in short I hope to finish all four books and maybe start a fifth if I'm able. Happy reading guys & what do you plan to read?

Wishlist Wednesday (27)

Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Pen to Paper where we can share books that are on our wishlist.

I can't remember how I stumbled across Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegerr and I've heard very mixed things about it since then however I love ghost stories and it sounds pretty wonderful to me.
Her Fearful Symmetry
GR: Six years after the phenomenal success of The Time Traveler's Wife, Audrey Niffenegger has returned with a spectacularly compelling and haunting second novel set in and around Highgate Cemetery in London.

When Elspeth Noblin dies of cancer, she leaves her London apartment to her twin nieces, Julia and Valentina. These two American girls never met their English aunt, only knew that their mother, too, was a twin, and Elspeth her sister. Julia and Valentina are semi-normal American teenagers--with seemingly little interest in college, finding jobs, or anything outside their cozy home in the suburbs of Chicago, and with an abnormally intense attachment to one another.

The girls move to Elspeth's flat, which borders Highgate Cemetery in London. They come to know the building's other residents. There is Martin, a brilliant and charming crossword puzzle setter suffering from crippling Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; Marjike, Martin's devoted but trapped wife; and Robert, Elspeth's elusive lover, a scholar of the cemetery. As the girls become embroiled in the fraying lives of their aunt's neighbors, they also discover that much is still alive in Highgate, including--perhaps--their aunt, who can't seem to leave her old apartment and life behind.
Niffenegger weaves a captivating story in Her Fearful Symmetry about love and identity, about secrets and sisterhood, and about the tenacity of life--even after death.
