Well this actually happened a while ago but I had a lot going on in real life that I wanted to deal with before I went ahead and made this crazy decision to host a giveaway. Its definitely about time because I've won more than my fair share of books.
After much thought I decided to let the winner decide which book they win because lets face it that's a lot more fun but I'm also jobless so hence the price limit, also I'll probably mooch about to find it the cheapest I can. I bet your actually sat here wondering whether its International or not and I've decided that yes it is but I'm not sure whether the prize will be sent from Amazon or The Book Depository yet because I have Amazon Prime which means I have free next day delivery and I've sent things around the UK before but never out of so if I can use it for that then it'll be from Amazon, otherwise TBD!
As this is the first one I've hosted I don't have a Giveaway policy up but the usual rules apply:
- I have the right to end the giveaway at any time, or even extend it
- As I'm not sending the book myself I can't be held responsible for the postman loosing your parcel but I will do everything I can possible to try and get it found again
- Duplicate and cheating entries will be removed
- If the winner hasn't responded with in 48 hours I will have to contact someone else
I'm not sure what I'd pick (maybe Enchanted or Gilt), but my favorite read this year is definitely The Night Circus, with Daughter of Smoke and Bone being a very close second.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on hitting 100!
I read The Night Circus earlier this year but it was whilst I was super busy at college and didn't review it, really loved it though!
DeleteThanks for the giveaway! As for which book I'd choose...I'd probably change my mind so many times, there are so many books coming out! But for this I'll go with Croak by Gina Damico, I want my own copy :) My favourite book so far this year, it was either Insurgent or the Immortal Rules.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, I've just finished Divergent and can't wait to get my hands on Insurgent!
DeleteLet me start off by saying Congrats on Hitting 100 Followers!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I would choose to receive since my book shopping lists changes daily. Favorite book I've read this year is probably Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper, and Cinder by Marissa Meyer for YA and Cinder by Marissa Meyer for YA.
Thank you very much!
DeleteSame here! Its so difficult to pick. I really want to read both Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs and Cinder, one day maybe, one day.
I'm not totally sure what I'd pick. I'll probably change my mind if the time comes around but at the moment I'm going to go with Daughter of Smoke and Bone (: As for my fav book this year... Well... considering I only read The Hunger Games this year I'm going to go with that xD
ReplyDeleteHaha, at least it was a good book!
DeleteI'm not sure what I'd pick either! *facepalm* Maybe one of the lovely Vintage Classics to fill in my collection, or one of the many YA novels being raved about right now? Hmmm, I'll think about it a bit more... :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite book this year... hmmm... I've been trying some new and different stuff recently, for challenges and because I've rediscovered my local library, and I've found some great books! My first Chuck Palahiuk, RANT, was bizarre but absolutely gripping. I read THE SISTERS BROTHERS by Patrick DeWitt and loved it so much more than I expected. And I picked up KING SOLOMON'S MINES by H. Rider Haggard for a challenge, and ended up being blown away. One of those books where it wasn't actually mine, but by the time I was halfway through I was wishing it was...
I have a Palahuik book on my shelf to read, it looks small so I should pick it up soon! I haven't read the others but they sound like I should check them out.
DeleteAwesome giveaway!! And Congrats on 100+ followers ;) I'm not sure which book I would pick...there are so many YA books out right now and so many coming out soon--I might just choose a book that I love for a friend/cousin and share my love with them ;) I am so excited to follow your blog--I can't believe I wasn't following already!!!
