New Books
This post was supposed to go live this morning but I totally forgot today was Saturday. Anyway, I've been good this week and not bought any books. Though I have accepted 2 for reviews - Clutch by Lisa Becker as I enjoyed her other books so much it seemed silly to turn down the opportunity to review her others, and The Dark World by S.C. Parris who I met through my Discord Book Chat!

News from Lauren
This week with my boyfriend has been lovely, we've been out to Beamish which is a little old village that pretends its still in the past and I got to pet a lamb! I don't know if I was supposed too but the wall was short and they were so precious.

Reading and annotating Shatter Me has been fun, though I'm not very far into it and the read-a-long for Neverwhere is going eh. I'm interested in it but I'm just not feeling it right now, Gaiman's writing style is very different to other things I've read.

  2. Ooh Grace gave me a Gaiman book, I haven't read it but now I'm curious about your mention of the style. And I love day trips to unique towns, the "older" it feels the better!
