Challenge One: What is one bookish thing you want to do before you die? OR what is one thing you want to do before you die that was inspired by a book you read?
Lauren's Answer: Just one? That's not very fair, but actually it makes it very easy. I could easily list something on going like to have my own library I'm happy with or manage to read all the books I own but there is a big one thing I want to do - attend BEA at least once! I live in the UK so it's not like I can just purchase tickets, hop in a car and drive there. Nope, its plane tickets, hotel room, taxi's, food and then shipping the books back home.
Lewis' Answer: I would like to read with my best friend in a big log cabin in Canada, the reason why I want that is because I'll have 3 things that I love in that scenario c:
Challenge Two: Post a comment or photo about your pairing (books with wine/food/soda/beer/etc) and tag it with the hashtag #Pairathon on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, OR Leave a comment on this post describing what you’re pairing with your books
Lauren's Pairathon: I've had a lot of Dark Chocolate biscuits from Aldi and now I finally have some proper McVitties ones and oh my g-d! I forgot how lovely these were, the chocolate is so tastey. I haven't actually picked up DDD yet but I will before the day is over, first I (blog) hop.
Lewis' Pairathon: This book is totally my cup of tea

My favorite is the second challenge :) Im not doing them yet until later tonight, otherwise I'll never read haha
ReplyDeleteCan u just ask, what are digestives? That sounds like a very gross name...is it snacks to make you go poo? Like Activia Yogurt is in US? It made me giggle. Love both your book choices!
Happy Reading!

Haha oh my this really tickled me. They're just chocolate covered biscuits :') haha.
DeleteO.o those are awesome pairings. I'm trying to lose some weight so I'm just drinking water now when I read. Sad, I know!
ReplyDeleteI pretty much just live off water and tea but I treated myself to those yummy biscuits hehe :3
Deletecoffee and books perfect together and did one of you say chocolate? Can I come to the cabin too?
ReplyDeleteYes you can, I have plenty to share :P
DeleteI nearly put that I wanted to attend BEA too! Living in the UK is TOO FAR sometimes - we miss all the cool stuff unless we put in some serious flight time. Like living up north vs living in London only with water and more hours in the way. We should totally get a UK BEA brigade going and take it by storm!
ReplyDeleteChocolate digestives, tea and a book. My perfect day. :D
It really is, I feel like we miss out on a lot! Haha we should, if someone arranged a group of us going that would be so much fun
