Bought, Borrowed & Bagged (51)

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) is a weekly meme hosted by Braine and Debbie @ Talk Supe where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news and The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It's a chance to share news; a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. As you can see I've decided to link on another weekly haul/wrap up meme because I'd like to start visiting some new blogs on the atmosphere and I find meme's are the best way to do so!

News from Lauren:

Ah, lots has happened these past two weeks. I got properly accepted into University, confirmed my accommodation and been seeking out my flat mates and class mates. The one flat mate I found out that I have nothing in common with him, but the girl I found in my class and she seems pretty awesome, she said she's a slow reader but we have loads of things in common and we've already arranged to meet up for the enrolment week!
Also I finally fixed my computer (again) and spent the last few days completely nerding out on Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas and Bastion. Ah so much fun! I'm surprised I've managed to read as much as I have.
I hope you've all had a great fortnight too!

  1. Those Kindle freebies have a way of hooking you don't they? I downloaded a lot this week too. Congrats on your acceptance into University and I hope that your flatmate situation works out! Also, woo for Skyrim! That game is beyond addicting, lol.

    1. Ugh they really do, I can't seem to stop. I don't know how I'm going to get through them all. & thank you, I have another 4 to meet yet so I have my fingers crossed

  2. Awesome Red Gash giveaway!

I have My Ex From Hell, I stopped borrowing books from the library, need to clear out my own library and read all the books ive hhoarded so far.

    1. Yeah she still has a lot going on!
That's why I avoid the library as often as I can! My own to read pile is so large.

  3. The Jelly Bean Crisis and No One's Angel look really good! Enjoy your books! >.<

Dee @ Dee's Reads My Book Haul

    1. I am so excited about No One's Angel but the book tour isn't until Oct so I have to read other things first :3

  4. What an awesome book haul! Hope the roomie works out for you. :)

  5. Destiny Redeemed and Dark Beach look good, what a fan-friggin-tastic haul my friend! *dances and throws confetti* congrats on UNI...have a great time and enjoy every minute and every experience!

    1. Eeek thank you! I'm so very excited (but scared too).

  6. Woohoo on being accepted for uni~!! That's awesome! I hope you and your flatmate at least enjoy each others company if you have to live together! Sometimes living with someone the complete opposite of you can be really interesting!

Vampnesia looks really interesting, going to check that one out more! I haven't seen it anywhere else :D

I hope you love all your books! And have a great week!

    1. Thanks! Yeah I'm hoping we will, if not there are still another 4 people I have to meet.

Awesome, I hope its your cup of tea c:

  7. Ooh, great haul! I see a lot of cool books here, but I'm very intrigued by Cornerstone. I'll definitely be adding that one to my wishlist! Enjoy, and thanks for stopping by earlier! =)

    1. Pretty sure its free so it'll be worth checking amazon :D
