Q. What is the one thing you would tell your favourite author if you had the chance?
Dear Stephen King,
Your work is amazing and I just really wanted to let you know that if it wasn't for your wonderful work I probably never would have stuck at reading. You're an inspiration.

Also other worthy mentions are J. K. Rowling, Jacqueline Wilson, Roald Dahl and Lemony Snicket who kept my mind and imagination busy during the younger years.

He really is a genius. I highly recommend the short story collection Everythings Eventual, its the first of his books I started with and I was hooked into his world/mind and wanted more. My all time favourite of his has to be The Stand though, I think it always will be.
DeleteThank you.
Awww Lemony Snicket! I totally forgot about him! Haha, there's so many inspirational authors I'd be writing letters for years...Hope you have a good friday :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF!
I know, I really want to reread his series now!
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time picking one author and then realise I had too much I wanted to say, instead I decided to be sweet and simple.
Also I can't access your site I get a warning "Warning: Something's Not Right Here!
readingwithstyle.blogspot.co.uk contains content from shabbyblogs.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site." D: I've noticed it on three or four blogspots I've tried to get on today. Just a heads up.
Stephen King!!! *-*

I've not read any of his books but I definetly agree with J.K Rowling, Jacqueline Wilson and Roald Dahl! Their books made up the whole of my childhood pratically!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I agree with Stephen King! I read Carrie and Cujo when I was younger and loved them!
ReplyDeleteMegan
No worries at all, I haven't read Carrie or Cujo yet but I do own Carrie. I hope to love them too.
DeleteHopping through. I would love to talk to Roald Dahl if he was still alive. What magical children's stories.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
It would indeed be a magical conversation. Thank you for stopping by.
DeleteI think it is so amazing that there are authors who give us hope for other books and make us stick to reading!
ReplyDeletePatricia // My Hop
Completely agree, I'm sure there are others that I haven't thought of too.

Here from the hop, and happy to know you! I hope you'll stop by Patch of Sky, too, because I'd love to get to know you better. Either way, I'll probably be checking out your review policy soon as I have a book coming out at the end of the month!
