12052012: On My Wishlist (18)

This is a weekly event, originally created by Book Chick City, and now hosted by Cosy Books, where we showcase the books which are currently top of our wishlist. Old, new or yet to be released titles are all welcome. And why keep it to books?

First up on my wishlist I have The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. At this present moment in time I own one of his books that a friend gave me for my birthday but I have yet to actually read a book of his. I'm terrible I know but I do aim to read them all because I haven't heard a bad thing about them. Ever.

Synopsis: Diagnosed with Stage IV thyroid cancer at 12, Hazel was prepared to die until, at 14, a medical miracle shrunk the tumours in her lungs... for now. Two years post-miracle, sixteen-year-old Hazel is post-everything else, too; post-high school, post-friends and post-normalcy. Also on my wishlist is The Selection by Kiera Cass. I actually fell for the cover of this book and a lot of my friends on GR have it on their to read pile and the few who've read it have given it pretty average reviews. But as always, everyone's taste is different and I don't think it sounds terrible. I'd definitely like to pick it up one day.

Lastly is Auracle by Gina Rosati which hasn't actually been released yet but man, I think it sounds pretty interesting! I can't wait to get my hands on it.
